Joint Injections

Joint Injections

Joint injections are minimally invasive procedures performed under live X-Ray to treat pain resulting from various causes, including osteoarthritis. Medications such as corticosteroids, local anesthetics, or platelet rich plasma (PRP) are injected directly into the source of the pain to provide relief from mild to moderate osteoarthritis.  These procedures take approximately 5 minutes to perform and are usually performed using a local anesthetic.
